Telemedicine Appointments (Consultations and Rechecks):
Consult with specialists (Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Palliative Care) from the comfort of your client’s home.
Diagnostics:
Bloodwork (both in-house and sent to an outside laboratory)
Urine testing (sent to an outside laboratory)
Advanced oncology diagnostics (immunohisto or immunocytochemistry, mast cell tumor prognostic panel, flow cytometry, PCR for antigen receptor rearrangement (PARR), BRAF urine testing, Fidocure, Vidium)
Imaging (radiographs, point-of-care ultrasounds for quick evaluations)
NOTE: Full diagnostic abdominal, thoracic, or cardiac ultrasounds or CT scans are not available in our mobile suite, although we can help facilitate scheduling these tests at other veterinary hospitals
Treatment Options:
Chemotherapy (injectable, oral, metromonic)
Targeted therapy (including Palladia, imatinib, lapatinib, and other options)
Immunotherapy (including the melanoma vaccine, ELIAS immunotherapy, and other options)
Pain management
NOTE: While we do not offer radiation therapy directly through VCCS, we do offer radiation oncology telemedicine consultations and can help facilitate getting your patients radiation therapy if indicated. We can also help facilitate scheduling surgery consultations in a timely manner as well.
Hospice Care and In-Home Euthanasia:
We offer end-of-life care as well as in-home euthanasia for our current patients. This allows the patient to have a peaceful passing in the familiar surroundings of their home.
